“PopArt Visitors” will be on exhibition as part of the Connected There but Not Always Here: Social Networking and the Power of Image exhibition to be held at The Light Factory in Charlotte, NC. The exhibition will be run from Jan 28 to May 19, 2013. This is a collaborative project between myself, Celine Latulipe, and Annabel Manning that allows participants to engage with photography on display at the gallery by sharing their thoughts in a short video clip. The video clips are then filtered and played back throughout the run of the exhibit.
*Update: Due to a [clever] theft of equipment, the interactive exhibition is now closed. While disappointing, the positives are that only one item was taken and that it occurred toward the ends of the exhibit.
